We are delighted to have collaborated once again with Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Ashbourne to put on an exhibition of work, by young people from Years 7 - 12. This mixed media show was intended to showcase the breadth of work being made by the Art Department.
It was held at 17, St John's Street, Ashbourne from the 23rd to the 30th of June 2021, as part of this year's Ashbourne Festival.
over 250 visitors admired the work of the students. 'The quality of the work is amazing..' commented one visitor and this was echoed by many others. Scott Garrity, the headteacher of QEGS said 'it is a fantastic event, and we are proud and privileged to be involved'
Our society sponsored the event and provided prizes for the best work.
