We are a voluntary organisation working to promote and preserve the arts in and around Derbyshire.
We currently attract members from both Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
Our society puts on a regular series of lectures, organises social and cultural visits and holidays as well as offering special interest days and other activities for our members.
We meet on the second Wednesday of the month between October and June in Ashbourne Town Hall. Lectures begin at 2.15pm.
We have recently sponsored four art exhibitions by students of Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Ashbourne, under the society's Young Arts Scheme. We are working with the school to explore new ways to assist and promote their young artists.
