The counties of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire balance some of England's prettiest countryside with rich historic and cultural attractions.
The 2024 Holiday starts with visits to The Firs Edward Elgar's Birthplace (NT) and the Museum of Royal Worcester China followed by a guided tour of Hereford Catherdral.
The holiday continues with a visits to the Tudor Hellens Manor, Painswick Rococo Gardens which were designed as a pleasure garden in the 1740's and afternoon tea at Chavenage House.
We will also visit The Wilson Gallery in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire’s premier art gallery and museum, including fascinating archives relating to Antarctic explorer Edward A. Wilson. Finally we will explore Berrington Hall a neoclassical mansion by Henry Holland set in 'Capability' Brown's final landscape.
During the holiday we will be staying at The Delta by Marriott Cheltenham Chase on the edge of the Cotswolds.
